Sometimes, it takes help to find a skill that needs developing and with a strengths-based, interdisciplinary, and a collaborative approach we can work together to grow skills that enhance wellbeing at home, in school, and beyond. The goal is to focus on connection over compliance to create healthy relationships while understanding that kids do well when they are able. Behavior is communication and sometimes it can take an understanding of someone’s neurology to truly address needs. Together we can develop tools to be able to answer that question with confidence so that you can walk through life more open to possibilities and solutions.īecause relationships are at the core of who we are, I also believe in supporting parents to find strategies in helping their children, whether neurodivergent or neurotypical, thrive in their environment. Therapy provides opportunities to self-examine and reframe how we walk through life in a more regulated state to be the best versions of ourselves grounded in self-regulation, attunement, and connection. We all want to be able to show up to challenges having many tools in our toolbox.

Many aspects of our lives come together in a moment such as our attachments, nervous systems, neurology, environment, and relationships. Why am I reacting this way? A thought-provoking question to reflect on during therapy sessions by understanding who you are as a person.
